Interview with Xante in summer 2025
Xante, your first FIS season is behind you. How do you look back on it?
It was a very exciting year for me. I travelled a lot with the Tyrolean squad and was able to gain a lot of new experience.
How did you find your way around the race calendar? What was new or particularly challenging?
The races were often several hours away by car, so good time management was essential. But I also tried to train as often as possible here in Arlberg when I was at home.
Which result or progress are you particularly proud of?
I am really happy with my FIS points for the first season. Especially because I was able to gain experience in all disciplines – slalom, giant slalom and super-G. The first year is an important foundation on which I want to build.
What have you taken away from this first FIS season?
That you have to remain flexible – every slope and every situation is different. But also that it pays off if you stick with it and work continuously.
What are your goals for the coming season?
Quite clearly, I want to improve my FIS points and, above all, become more consistent in the technical areas. To achieve this, I will train hard again in the summer.
