For the sixth time, Ski-Club Arlberg organised the STANTON Freeride 2* Junior Event – and this year's event was once again a resounding success.
The organising committee led by Stefan Häusl did an excellent job and once again demonstrated the professionalism and commitment with which junior sports are organised in Arlberg. A total of 84 participants from 12 nations ensured an international starting field and high-class freeride sport.
Sunshine, powder snow and strong runs
In bright sunshine and perfect conditions with fresh powder snow, the competition location on the Bachseite showed itself from its best side. The young athletes made optimal use of the terrain and showed impressive lines, clean jumps and numerous spectacular 360 variations.
The high level of athleticism impressed not only the jury, but also spectators and coaches. Bold route choices, technical skill and controlled landings characterised an event that once again demonstrated the quality of the international freeride junior team.
Proud of the freeride team
The Arlberg Ski Club is particularly proud to have such a dedicated and strong freeride team in its ranks. The successful staging of the sixth edition of the STANTON Freeride Junior Event underlines the importance of the Arlberg as a talent factory in international freeride sport.
An all-round successful event that whets the appetite for the next edition.
