A major success for Nina Ortlieb: The Vorarlberg native was crowned double national champion at the 2026 Austrian Championships on the Reiteralm. On April 9, she confidently secured the title in the downhill, before leaving the competition behind in the super-G just one day later, on April 10.

These two victories hold special significance, as they mark the culmination of an impressive comeback. Following her serious injury in 2025—a fracture of the tibia and fibula—Ortlieb fought her way back to the top of Austrian skiing with great discipline and dedication.

With these latest successes, she has increased her personal tally to a total of four national championship titles. She has now won the national title twice in both the downhill and the super-G.
