Kids Ski Festival in Bad Hofgastein
The SalzburgMilch Kids Ski Festival took place in Bad Hofgastein on 8 and 9 March. 130 children in grades K11/12 from eight federal states showed off their talent in six exciting competitions (technical skiing, cross-country skiing, giant slalom, slalom, funslope slalom). The best five results were categorised according to World Cup points.
Thanks to perfect organisation by WSV Bad Hofgastein and great support from Bergbahnen Gastein, the event went off without a hitch. Tyrol won the provincial ranking ahead of Salzburg and Carinthia.
The young skiers Lilli Strolz and Nele Wolf from St. Anton and Pettneu were particularly successful, winning the overall standings. Anna Scherfler from St. Anton achieved a strong 3rd place overall.
Lilli and Nele achieved the following results in the K11 class and Anna in the K12 class:
