Spectacular finale at the FIS Freestyle Big Air Europa Cup in St. Anton am Arlberg

St. Anton am Arlberg, 20 March 2026 – At the FIS Freestyle Big Air Europa Cup final in St. Anton am Arlberg, Europe’s best young and top athletes gave an impressive display of their skills. Perfect conditions, a top-class field of competitors and spectacular tricks ensured an event of the highest standard at the St. Anton Snowpark.

In the Freeski Men’s category, Ukraine’s Orest Kovalenko secured victory ahead of Austria’s Luis Resch. Third place also went to Austria, claimed by Andre Walkner, underlining the strong home performance.

A highlight from an Austrian perspective was provided by Anna Rauchmann, who confidently claimed victory in the Freeski Women’s category. Ukrainian Mariia Aniichyn took second place, followed by Britain’s Ash Clayton in third.

In the men’s snowboard competition, Slovakia’s Martin Jozsa came out on top. Switzerland’s up-and-coming rider Reef Matt Hasler took second place, whilst Noé Petit from France finished third.

In the women’s snowboard event, victory went to Italy’s Alessia Vergani. Katja Dutu from the Netherlands and Germany’s Yugala Perach completed the podium.

The event impressed not only with its sporting quality but also with the fantastic atmosphere at Rendl Beach, where the finals and subsequent award ceremonies took place. Numerous spectators watched the spectacular jumps and cheered on the athletes.

The Arlberg Ski Club is extremely satisfied with the successful event and particularly highlights the excellent cooperation with the Arlberg Bergbahnen, the stantonpark Shapecrew and the Austrian Ski Association. “Without the perfect teamwork of all partners, an event of this calibre would not have been possible,” said the organising team.

The FIS Freestyle Big Air Europa Cup in St. Anton am Arlberg has once again demonstrated that it is an important platform for the stars of tomorrow and has established itself as a fixture on the international freestyle calendar.
