The SCA mourns the loss of its honorary member, Mone

It is with great sadness and deep sorrow that we bid farewell to our honorary member

Mone Tomelitsch

1953 – 2026

who passed away last Saturday.
Despite his serious illness, he faced life with great dignity right to the very end, with an open heart and a smile that will remain in the memories of many.

Mone shaped the Ski-Club Arlberg over many years with great dedication. He was a driving force in both the Zürs and St. Anton branches, organising and bringing the regular get-togethers to life with great passion. Over the years, he welcomed countless members to the Ski-Club Arlberg and inspired them to take an interest in our club.

Youth work was always particularly close to his heart. For many years, he looked after and trained our SCA children in both winter and summer, instilling in them not only sporting skills but also a love of club life.

Mone served as Youth Officer on the Executive Committee until 2022. In recognition of his outstanding service, he was made an honorary member in 2024.

His cheerful nature and sense of humour, with which he enriched so many encounters and brought so much laughter, will also remain unforgettable.

We will always remember Mone with gratitude as a cherished friend and a dedicated.

Our thoughts are with his family and all his loved ones.
