1. Hauptversammlung Ski-Club Arlberg – Zweigverein St. Anton am Arlberg
Amidst summery temperatures, the 1st Annual General Meeting of the Ski-Club Arlberg – St. Anton am Arlberg Branch was held on Thursday, 30 July 2026, in the Remise at the Arlberg WellCom. A varied afternoon featuring sport, reports on the club’s activities and awards provided the perfect setting for the first Annual General Meeting following a successful first year of the club’s existence.
The afternoon got underway at 3.00 pm with the traditional Children’s Olympics for the Ski-Club Arlberg’s training group. On the sports field at the Arlberg WellCom, the young athletes were able to demonstrate their skills and teamwork at various stations. In competitions such as leatherball, cornhole and frisbee, the focus was above all on having fun and enjoying physical activity. A big thank you goes to all the children for taking part, as well as to the many helpers whose dedication ensured the event was a great success.
Following a relaxed aperitif, which took place at the Remise from 4.30 pm, Chairman Michael Ess opened the branch club’s first Annual General Meeting at 5.15 pm and confirmed that a quorum was present. In his report, he looked back on the club’s first successful year and outlined the numerous activities as well as the positive development of the branch club.
Sports Director Andi Tatschl then gave an overview of the successes achieved by the athletes of the Arlberg Ski Club. Thanks to their great dedication and commitment, our athletes were once again able to achieve numerous impressive results last season.
Special thanks were extended to the many volunteers who played an active role at races and events. In his report, Andreas Strolz emphasised that the successful organisation of the numerous events would not have been possible without this invaluable support.
Treasurer Luise Kaspar also had good news to report and presented a positive financial statement for the club’s first year. She thanked all patrons, sponsors and members for their support and the trust they had placed in the club.
During the gathering, deserving patrons and supporters of the Arlberg Ski Club, as well as successful athletes, were also honoured for their outstanding achievements.
After the official part of the evening, the focus shifted to a cosy get-together. Those present were treated to excellent pizza from M3, which provided the perfect culinary finishing touch to the summer evening. A heartfelt thank you goes to the Kaser family and their entire team for the excellent hospitality.
The successful evening drew to a relaxed close with pleasant conversations, a glass of wine or beer, and a wonderful atmosphere. The children were not left out either and clearly had a great time playing paddle tennis.
A big thank you goes to all the participants and to all the helpers whose dedication helped make this first Annual General Meeting a special occasion.
The Arlberg Ski Club – St. Anton am Arlberg branch looks forward with confidence to the coming years and looks forward to many more shared successes.
