Long Night at the Museum - 125 Years of the SCA Special Exhibition
125 Years of the Ski Club Arlberg – A Journey Through History
On January 3, 1901, six friends set off through the fresh powder snow for St. Christoph am Arlberg – dressed in loden cloth, on simple skis, with heavy boots and a single-pole ski in hand.
It was in the Hotel Hospiz that an idea was born which would make history: the founding of the Ski Club Arlberg.
This winter, one of the oldest ski clubs in the world celebrates its 125th anniversary.
The St. Anton am Arlberg Museum is dedicating a special exhibition to the anniversary, focusing on the club's founding, significant milestones, and influential figures.
