FIS Freestyle Ski Europa Cup Big Air & Slopestyle Events

From Wednesday, March 20, to Sunday, March 24, 2024, Stantonpark and Rendl Beach will be all about freestyle. The program includes a Big Air FIS European Cup, FIS Slopestyle, FIS Junior Slopestyle, and an Oberland Tour event – ​​each for skiing and snowboarding.

Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the next generation of freestyle elite up close and cheer on the athletes as they strive for international success.

Wednesday, March 20, 2024 – Qualification

On Wednesday, the qualification rounds for the Big Air final will take place. Throughout the day, Stantonpark will be filled with top-notch freestyle action as athletes compete for the coveted starting positions in the final and showcase their skills.

Thursday, March 21, 2024 – Finals

The Big Air Europa Cup offers all participants the chance to showcase their skills with strong performances, qualifying for higher-level competitions and taking the next step towards the international elite.

Big Air features spectacular tricks performed over a single kicker. In three rounds, where two different tricks are scored, multiple rotations and daring jumps are standard.

The Pro Line in Stantonpark at Rendl provides the stage for this action-packed Big Air event and guarantees top-level freestyle.

The Slopestyle FIS race offers young athletes the perfect platform to demonstrate their talent under competitive conditions and collect crucial points for advancing to the Europa Cup.

Slopestyle demands versatility: The course consists of two kickers and two obstacles in the form of rails or boxes. Clean lines, fluid transitions, and technically challenging tricks are essential.

Execution, difficulty, and creativity are judged, with a total of up to 100 points possible. Mistakes or falls significantly impact the overall score – a convincing overall impression is crucial.

The Medium Line in Stantonpark offers ideal conditions for up-and-coming riders to showcase their skills and take the next step in their freestyle career.
